<p>    &ldquo;Rosie,&rdquo; Snyder said.  &ldquo;You look great.  Did you lose weight?&rdquo;</p>
<p>    &ldquo;Yes,&rdquo; the 300+ pound Clooney replied.  &ldquo;Last I checked it was over half a ton.&rdquo;</p>

<p>    Rosemary Clooney &ndash; like millions of other Americans &ndash; always seemed to be on a diet.</p>
