It has now been proven scientifically that a list of refined processed carbohydrates and fat burning do exist. These food items work in three ways to speed up the rate of fat metabolism for increase weight loss. In this article we are going to look into the science behind how fat burning foods work and explore a list of fat excess burning foods.

The first way that fat burning foods work is through the mechanics of filling the tummy with foods that also require more energy to digest. Some foods contain more fiber and when eaten, they tend to fill up the tummy more giving the fullness effect to the person eating. This will discourage the person from eating further which result in a lower calorie intake. In most cases, these high fiber foods are also not easily broken down in the digestive system. They require more energy to digest and hence contribute to weight loss. The list of fat burning foods in this category includes apples, beans, lean turkey, cabbages and pears. As you can see, most of them are fruits and vegetables, but meat like lean turkey meat in this case contain special protein compound that will also increase metabolic rate of the body. Lean turkey meat is also fiber heavy compared to many other form of lean meat. That is why; lean turkey feels dry and tough when eaten.

The second and most common way fat burning foods work is by increasing the metabolic rate of the body. Certain foods contain special nutrients that actually raises metabolism of the body in a few ways. For example, carrots contain carotene which increases metabolism by speeding up the elimination of fat deposit and waste from the body. This increase in waste disposal will mean that more fat can be burnt once that prior process is completed. Tomatoes contain critic malic acid which has an enzyme that stimulates more metabolisms. This chemical acid also releases more water from the kidney that can help flush out the waste content in the body. When waste content are removed faster, the metabolic rate also increases. Asparagus is another food that helps to raise metabolic rate. How this vegetable do it is that it contains nutrients that will breakdown oxalic acid, which will facilitate the break up of fatty deposit. Once these fatty deposits are broken down, the metabolism of this fatty deposit becomes faster and more efficient.

The final way that fat burning foods work is as mentioned briefly in the second point. Some foods will assist in the break up of fatty deposit in the body. These broken down fatty deposit becomes easier to metabolize for the body. Garlic works in this way. It contains a substance called allicin which helps to lower blood cholesterol blood pressure levels. This substance is also a diuretic substance that aids the breakage of fats. All these combine to divide complex fatty tissue up for faster metabolism to take place. Onions also work similarly to garlic to break down fatty deposit for greater metabolism. Another food that works this way is celery. Raw celery has high calcium content and when eaten, this calcium is sent immediately to work to stimulate the endocrine system. The end result is that the endocrine system will produce a hormone to break up fatty deposits rapidly.

You might have noticed that the list of fat burning foods indicated here are more or less vegetables. This will probably raise the point should one turn vegetarian is he is to rely solely on eating fat burning foods to loss weight. The answer is no. There are so many weight loss plans out there, and if you’re trying to lose weight it’s easy to get disillusioned after trying after with no benefits, or with yo-yo weight loss benefits.

Instead of falling victim to any more of these short term weight loss plans, here is why many of them don’t and how you can move to a eating plan that will help you achieve and maintain weight loss.

1 – Reinforce Negative Feelings

Since most diet plans focus on avoiding certain , they create negativity in your mind. You’re not allowed to eat a brownie because it’s too much fat, or chocolate, or sugar, or carbohydrates or points. They set up a situation where you feel deprived.

If you turn this around and focus on getting more healthy foods in your diet, that are loaded with nutrients, you will gradually crave those other foods less. If you simply cut out bad foods without increasing good ones, your body will still be craving nutrients or foods.

2 – Lack Of Transition From A Weight Loss Diet Plan To A Maintenance Eating Plan

Weight loss programs that are effective work by creating an imbalance in your diet. The reason your body carries extra weight is because it is out of balance, so a diet to correct that imbalance needs to be imbalanced itself.

But the problem with these diet plans is that there isn’t always a strategy to maintain your healthy weight balance, and the pendulum swings back out.

To find a long term healthy diet plan, it needs to become a habit and something that you feel comfortable maintaining. You can’t live your life always feeling deprived. You can make adjustments as you go, and usually a healthy diet meal plan works out to become healthier as you get used to it.

3 – Any Extreme Weight Loss Diet Plan is Unsustainable

When there is imbalance in weight, diet and exercise need to be imbalanced to correct your body to a healthy weight. However, there are lots of plans that take this too far and advocate an extreme weight loss diet plan that will give extreme benefits. These can take the form of low carb, low fat, high fat, low protein, or a combination of these.

Some of these can be effective initially, although they can benefit in weight loss through muscle rather than fat, and usually plateau. They also don’t always provide enough of the energy your body needs to sustain itself and its functions, which comes from carbohydrates.

Diets for quick weight loss that are too extreme will usually cause a bounce back when you either can’t stick with the diet or try to go back to a normal diet. A better strategy is to adopt a balanced diet plan that reinforces healthy eating habits you can maintain. I advocate a healthy vegetarian diet plan or vegan diet plan or perhaps a small amount of meat as your starting point. Then you just need to know what eat instead.

Understanding of the major failings of weight loss programs, and how to work on your goals in a healthier way, will help you find a weight loss diet plan that works for you.
